Snow Removal Reminder
Snow is in the forecast and we wanted to share a friendly reminder regarding snow removal.
- Parking restrictions are in place - regardless of snowfall, from October 1 - March 31 from 6:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- Please place garbage cans a few feet into your driveway. Not on the road or sidewalk to allow Public Works to clean the streets, sidewalks, and windrows.
- Give sand trucks adequate room to sand hills, corners, intersections, and roadways.
- Roads will be plowed in priority sequence as per the Snow and Ice Control Policy.
- Windrows will be cleared in the same priority sequence if available resources are not adequate, remaining windrows may be left until the following day.
- Do not deposit snow on District roadways, sidewalks, or walkways.
- To be eligible for windrow cleaning you must allow storage on your property immediately adjacent to your driveway.
- Damage to driveways, irrigation systems, retaining walls, structures, or objects within the municipal right-of-way during snow removal will not be replaced by the District. Property owners that do not want their windrows done please contact the Public Works Office to opt out.
