Residents Are Encouraged To Be Bear Aware As Frequent Sightings Are Reported
With numerous sightings, and at least three separate family units of bears being reported within the District, traps have now been set. Several trails have been closed to accommodate the traps, and other trails now display signage communicating notice of a bear in the area. Please be respectful of posted signage, and use a high level of caution when outdoors, especially during dawn and dusk. All residents are reminded to remove wildlife attractants from their property.
