Lions Park Skating Loop is now open for use. The outdoor rink on Ponderosa Drive in Sparwood Heights remains closed until the cooler temperatures fully stabilize the surface. Lions Park Skating Loop Opens December 23
We are excited to announce the Lions Park Skating Loop will be open tomorrow, December 23 at 4:00 pm. Please remember to use caution as snow removal and ice maintenance is ongoing throughout the season. In the coming weeks, lights will be set-up around the loop allowing skaters to utilize the trail later in the evening. We hope you enjoy this great winter amenity.…

The outdoor ice rink in Sparwood Heights is now open. The rink will be open from dawn until 10:00 pm daily with the lights on from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Please remember that this is a natural ice surface so ice conditions will vary depending on the weather. The District has provided two snow shovels for clearing the snow.
