Sparwood is full of recreation opportunities. Outdoor and indoor facilities ensure that the community is well serviced by recreation. The District offers a variety of leisure time programs. Classes for children and adults range from dance and fitness to skating, gymnastics and swimming. Recreational and cultural programs are sponsored by community groups throughout the year.
