In general the notices located in this section fall have statutory notice requirements under Section 94 of the Community Charter, which require public notification prior to Council's consideration of the matter. These notices are also posted in the local newspaper and on the notice board just outside of the District Office's front doors. Depending on the matter, notices may also be posted on the subject property, in the BC Gazette, Community Newsletters, Council Facts, through the radio or social media, or even as a display in the mall, library or community centre.
Effective immediately, the District of Sparwood Spray Park has been reopened for community use.
District of Sparwood parks, sports fields, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts are now open for public use. Several safety measures are in place regarding the access of these areas.
