NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Informal Hearing by the Council for the District of Sparwood will be held on September 17, 2019 at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers, 136 Spruce Avenue, Sparwood, to consider issuance of Development Variance Permit 2019-008 to vary sections of the Sparwood Mobile Home Parks Bylaw No. 288, 1982 to reduce the width of a mobile home space to permit the addition of a new mobile home space (37A) in Lodgepole Mobile Home Park, as identified on Schedule A and B of the proposed permit as well as the application. Council will then consider issuance of the DVP at a future Regular Council Meeting.

The applicant has applied for a Development Variance Permit (DVP) to vary the minimum mobile home space width in the Mobile Home Park Bylaw to permit a new mobile home space at 37A.
All persons who believe that their interest is affected by the proposed variance shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard in person, by a representative, or by written submission on the matters contained within DVP 2019-008 at the Informal Hearing. Copies of the draft Development Variance Permit and related materials may be reviewed online at http://www.sparwood.ca/dvp or at the Municipal Office, 136 Spruce Avenue, Sparwood, B.C., during regular office hours of 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. local time, Monday to Friday from August 28 – September 17, 2019, excluding Labour Day.

Please note that due to potential email issues, all submissions sent by email should be confirmed by phone at the number listed below. These submissions must be received by no later than 12:00 p.m. on September 17, 2019 to ensure their availability to Council at the Informal Hearing.
