Sparwood Trails Re-opened!

As of 6:00 p.m. on September 15, 2017, all Sparwood trails are open for public use.

With the cooler temperatures and recent precipitation, the Fire Chief has determined it is appropriate to open the trails.

Residents are reminded that off-road vehicles are not permitted on District trails, and as a precaution please refrain from smoking on trails. All restrictions in relation to Crown Land (issued by BC Wildfire Service) and Teck private land holdings in the Elk Valley remain in effect unless otherwise notified by BC Wildfire Service or Teck Coal.
