Sparwood Activates Emergency Operations Centre

The District of Sparwood has activated its Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in support of the government of British Columbia’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

The EOC has been established to provide a central contact point of information and will allow the District to coordinate communication with many important external agencies, as well as plan and work collaboratively with local, regional and provincial efforts that are underway.

How would you like to help your community during an emergency or disaster?

The District of Sparwood is currently seeking volunteers to work in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC)  or in Emergency Support Services in the event of an emergency (e.g. fire or flood).
