Council for the District of Sparwood will, at the Regular Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2013, consider a resolution issuing a Development Variance Permit on Lot 1 DL 4589 KD Plan 17773 (602 Sparwood Drive) that would reduce the rear yard minimum from 7.62 metres (25 feet) to 1.52 metres (5 feet), a difference of 6.09 metres (20 feet) to allow for a greater truck turning radius and accommodate future expansions, as detailed in the public hearing information package attached below.
All persons who believe that their interest is affected by the proposed variance shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard in person, by a representative, or by written submission on the matters contained within DVP 2012-004 at the Regular Council Meeting. Written submissions may be sent to the District of Sparwood, Box 520, Sparwood, BC V0B 2G0. Electronic submissions by email should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that due to potential email issues, all submissions sent by email should be confirmed by phone at the number listed below. These submissions must be received by no later than 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2013 in order to ensure their availability to Council at the Regular Meeting.
