Public Hearing: Bylaw 1126

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, July 15th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 136 Spruce Avenue, Sparwood, BC, to consider a proposed amendment to the District of Sparwood “Zoning Bylaw No. 264 1981”.

Applicant: 563386 BC Ltd. (Rick Pater)

Property affected: A portion of Lot A DL 4589 KD Plan NEP89612. Locally known as Mountain View Mobile Home Park and as shown outlined in dashed line on the map on the reverse of this page.

In general terms, Bylaw 1126 cited as "Zoning Bylaw No. 264, 1981 Amendment Bylaw 1126, 2013” will rezone a portion of the property from R-MH (Modular Home Subdivision / Manufactured Home Subdivision) to R-MP (Mobile Home Park).

All persons who believe that their interest is affected by the proposed bylaws shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard in person, by a representative, or by written submission on the matters contained within Bylaws 1126 at the Public Hearing. Written submissions may be sent to the District of Sparwood, Box 520, Sparwood, BC V0B 2G0. Electronic submissions by email should be sent to sparwood@sparwood.ca. Please note that due to potential email issues, all submissions sent by email should be confirmed by phone at the number listed below. These submissions must be received by no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 15, 2013 in order to ensure their availability to Council at the Public Hearing. All submissions must include your name and street address and are considered public information, pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Following the close of the Public Hearing, no further submissions or comments from the public or interested persons can be accepted by members of Council.

The above Bylaws and related staff reports and background information may be inspected at the Municipal Office, 136 Spruce Avenue, Sparwood, B.C., from June 21, 2013 – July 15, 2013 during regular office hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. local time, Monday to Friday, with the exception of those days that the office is closed for the holidays, as noted below:
