Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, June 20th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 136 Spruce Avenue, Sparwood, BC, to consider a proposed amendment to the District of Sparwood “Zoning Bylaw No. 264, 1981”.
Property affected: The entire M-1 Zone which includes various areas around Sparwood.
In general terms, Bylaw 1070 cited as "Zoning Bylaw No. 264, 1981 Amendment Bylaw 1070, 2011" will amend the M-1 (Light Industrial) zone to reduce the minimum rear yard as follows:
(i) Minimum principal building rear yard requirement is reduced from 15.24 m (50ft) to 7.62m (25ft); save except that the rear yard may be utilized for storage.
(ii) Minimum accessory building and structure rear yard requirement is reduced from 7.62m (25ft) 4.57m (15ft).
