Information Bulletin: Rocky Mountain Forest District restrictions amended.

Due to recent changes in weather and fire behaviour, the closure of the Rocky Mountain Forest District will be rescinded effective at noon Pacific time on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017.

However, the campfire ban and off-road vehicle (ORV) prohibition remain in effect for the entire region. For more information about the ORV prohibition, please visit: http://ow.ly/LVRt30eCGlM

There are still restrictions on certain areas within the Rocky Mountain Forest District, including areas around the White River wildfire, Quinn Creek wildfire, Linklater wildfire, Lamb Creek wildfire and Flathead region.
