DVP Consideration: 102-2nd Avenue

Council for the District of Sparwood will, at the Regular Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on June 16, 2014, consider a resolution issuing a Development Variance Permit on LOT A DL 4589 KD PLAN NEP65387 (102- 2nd Avenue), to allow for construction of a two-storey addition to Lilac Terrace and add 15 rooms to the complex as detailed in the application, that would vary:

From sections of the Zoning Bylaw No. 264, 1981:
1) Section 3.8.2.C.(i), minimum side yard is reduced from 3.65 m (12 ft) to 1.57 m (5’2’), a difference of 2.13 m (6.97 ft).;
2) Section 3.8.2.F.(ii), minimum floor area for a bachelor suite is reduced from 41.8 m2 (450 ft2) to 38.09 m2 (410 ft2);
3) Section 3.8.2.F.(ii), minimum floor area for a one bedroom suite is reduced from 55.74 m2 (600 ft2) to 54.8 m2 (590 ft2); and,
4) Section 3.8.2.F.(ii), minimum floor area for a two bedroom suite is reduced from 74.32 m2 (800 ft2) to 73.39 m2 (790 ft2).
