Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, July 21st, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 136 Spruce Avenue, Sparwood, BC, to consider a proposed amendment to the District of Sparwood “Zoning Bylaw No. 264 1981”.
Applicant: District of Sparwood
Property affected: Residential Properties within the R-3 zone.
In general terms, Bylaw 1155 cited as "Zoning Bylaw No. 264, 1981 Amendment Bylaw 1155, 2014” will permit the use of modular components and permit an increase in the allowable height within the multi-family residential zone.
All persons who believe that their interest is affected by the proposed bylaws shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard in person, by a representative, or by written submission on the matters contained within Bylaws 1155 at the Public Hearing. Written submissions may be sent to the District of Sparwood, Box 520, Sparwood, BC V0B 2G0. Electronic submissions by email should be sent to email@example.com. Please note that due to potential email issues, all submissions sent by email should be confirmed by phone at the number listed below. These submissions must be received by no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 21st, 2014 in order to ensure their availability to Council at the Public Hearing. All submissions must include your name and street address and are considered public information, pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Following the close of the Public Hearing, no further submissions or comments from the public or interested persons can be accepted by members of Council.
