Sparwood Skatepark Now Open For Use

Effective immediately, the Sparwood Skatepark is open for use. Skatepark patrons are requested to follow the posted guidelines at the park and follow recommendations from the provincial health authority, provincial recreation agencies and Canada Skateboard.

Summer Camp Leader

We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals who truly love working with children and are passionate about being involved in our great community. As one of our Summer Camp Leaders you will work with children aged 3 – 12 years, leading our summer programs.

The Committee of the Whole Meeting scheduled for April 28, 2020 at 6:00 pm has been cancelled. 

The District of Sparwood Prohibits Category 2 and 3 Fires

Effective at noon Mountain time on Thursday, April 16, 2020, Category 2 and Category 3 open fires will be prohibited throughout the District of Sparwood and will remain in place until the public is otherwise notified. This ban is being activated in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic and aligns with the Provincially announced prohibition which is aimed to reduce human caused wildfires and minimize the need to deploy staff, therefore helping to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
