Home of the Sparwood Skating Club, Elk Valley Minor Hockey, Men’s and Ladies Hockey Teams, Public Skating and Shinny Hockey

Located in the same complex as the pool, racquet courts, restaurant, curling rink, community hall and other facilities, the arena is home of the Sparwood Skating Club, Elk Valley Minor Hockey, Men’s Hockey Teams, a Ladies Hockey Team, Public Skating and Shinny Hockey. During the summer we host indoor events such as Coal Miner Days, Canada Day Celebrations, Roller Derby Bouts, and much more! 

Recreation (pick up) hockey, tot skating, and public skating are offered several times a week from mid-September until the end of March.
