The following list is just the beginning of some of Sparwood's many adventures. From mild to wild and everything in between, Sparwood has family-friendly down-to-earth everday fun experiences. Just try and see how many you can do!

• You have to see the BIG GREEN TRUCK! Get your picture taken in front of the Terex Titan that stands outside the Sparwood Visitor Centre, one of the World's Largest Trucks.
• Take a hike. Or a walk, or a stroll or an amble. Leave right from the back door. Or the front door!
• Put your head in the clouds and go up any number of the spectacular surrounding Rocky Mountains
• Be your own spokesperson and get back on the bike seat Sparwood has incredible Mountain Biking terrain and trails all around.
• Visit us for Coal Miner Days
• Check out the Community Arch, made from the historical brick from the Michel Powerhouse, honouring the Coal Miner.
• Camp at the Mountain Shadows Campground
• Stroll around our community and check out the historic murals
• Take the Mine Artifacts Self-Guided Walking Tour
• Visit the Miner’s Memorial in Centennial Square
• Join us for Tours of the Coal Mine (July & August)
• Get back to nature and explore and visit our nature trail network (walking, biking, and more!)
