A new childcare centre is due to open in Sparwood in September 2011

Sparwood's new childcare centre is a society-driven group program for children ages 6 months to 5 years. It will be fully licensed, state of the art, and staffed with the best experienced people available.

The Society is now accepting information and suggestions from parents considering enrolling their children in the centre. Please complete the survey by following the link at the bottom of this page if you are looking for high-quality, engaging and friendly childcare this Fall

Location: Former Mountainview Elementary School on Pine Avenue

Hours of Operation: Dependant upon demand, the childcare centre may be open weekdays from 6:00am until 7:00pm. Unless there is significant demand for weekend service, the facility will be closed weekends.

Fees: Although not formally established, indications are that to provide the exceptionally high quality of service most parents want for their children, full time childcare costs will be in the order of $850 per month for children aged 3 to 5 years and $1100 per month for 6 to 24 month old children. Half time rates of $450 per month and hourly rates of $6.00 may also be available. Daily rates will be in the order of $45 per day.
